Tax Question

this may have been asked before but what should i be paying for my car tax??

im being charged for a 2.6 litre but its only got a displacement of 1300 odd cc's so am i paying more than i should or do all us FD owners have this unfair treatment?? :(

firstly i doubt if the little old lady in the post office would understand the 1300cc problem, she /he may look at it different if you show the registration forms showing 1.3 but I also think that they would charge you for a 2.6 because thats what is says on the insurance policy.

i think most people have this problem.

When Mazda released the FD in the UK they came to an agreement with the DVLA to class it as a 2.6. This is due to the way the power cycle is done.

If it says 1.3 on the reg document, then they have to give you the cheaper road tax.
