Hi all,
just finished getting a quote from Tesco, I'd heard rumours they were quite good.
Before declaring any mods they were offering just over £1k (25yrs old, 5 years no claims, £18k RX-7 RS '96 etc), very reasonable.
After declaring over £11k worth of mods (the majority being cosmetic) and spending near 1/2 an hour on the phone the offer went up a tad...
£5k with £900 excess!
I am still laughing. Jeez oh man that's funny.

Hi Chris,
Don't normally post this but it may well be well worth you sporting £15 to join the club to obtain a membership No and then ring AON they have assured me they will insure people over 24 with almost any mods bar NOS through our scheme with them .
Hope this helps.
All the best Clive

Just phoned Aon, they don't touch you unless your are 30+ :(
A-Plan reckon £3500-ish :(
Adrian Flux reckon £3000-ish (even before I had declared any mods) :(
I stopped there, too disheartened to continue. Are these quotes normal for; -
25 year old
18k car
Lots of mods (99% cosmetic)
5 years no claims
I don't want to think about the consequences of failing to get my insurance quote down. :(

Hi,
okay, I'm sending my membership application today, I assume then, that a number is provided for AON after membership has been approved?
Chris.
