Do we know of anyone putting bass into a 1st gen? (where?)

I'd like to, but I dont know if its practical. Mind you, you dont do what I just did to it if you're that way inclined...

Its already got 6.5" components, 5.5" coaxials, 60w Alpine CD & Dynomatted enclosers. I've got a fat JBL 12" in a box but there's just nowhere to put the thing without removing the rear seats.

I think you'd have to get a free air sub & make an MDF shelf over the "boot" (more like a shelf!)

Just wondered if anyone had done it yet.

I remember seeing a post on the us rx7club.com forum of a gen 1 with ice in it.....i'll see if i can find it!!

Some good stuff there tho don.....think how often you use the rear seats etc.....and see if its worth taking them out....i was NEVER gonnna use my rear seats in my fd3.....becuase they are useless.....so i took them out, and it was the ideal place to put the subs!

The interior is a bit tatty on mine anyway, could do with a re trim.
