hello all.
had a sparky look at the car (finally) and he reckons if i replace the flasher unit (pictured) it'll all be hunky-dory. Sooo, does anyone have any ideas where i could get one? Maybe Carl or Rich...?
Also the clutch on the 818 died today. I'm looking to find a clutch & cable somewhere.
Any help with the above would be most appreciated.

he reckons it'll be fine to put in a unit from another car, but it'll save me a fair bit of time and money if i can find one of these puppies and just slam her in.
cheers guys,
gord

it looks like two of the pins on that unit are bridged so a 5 pin one would replace it like your leccy said. I've been trying to dig out a later mazda one from the store of bit my dad has left over from working at mazda as we think they are 6 pinned units too.

as you can see from the photo I am struggling a little as this is the state of the garage at the moment and the box is burried somewhere in the other corner of the garden !

Hey Gord sorry I dont have anything in the UK but if the other afformentined people, i.e. Carl etc, cant help then I could probably source some stuff from oZ quite easily.
Good luck, michael.

Martin, I've just checked in my RX3 Parts book and the electrical section has the updated pages, dated March '74.

Thing is it only lists a part number for Left hand drive models:confused:

If its any use, the number is 0848 66 830
Rich;)

My Catalogue lists 2113 66 470. It looks totally different, though.

Sort of a cylinder shaped thingy :-)
