You dont all know me, I am on my 4th RX-7 and my 6th RX-2!! Pictured here is one the RX-2's I used to own. I owned it between about 1987 - 2000. The engine was standard 12A with std Nikki Carb. Only the exhaust was slightly modified. The diff was welded solid, springs cut, and very hard shocks - Spax at the back, I think in the front may have been Gabriel. I raced in a friendly club series, sponsored by Castrol. I raced about 8 races a year, and the engine lasted me about 5 years at a time. It was also road legal, so it doubled as a road car sometimes. Its not those colours anymore - unfortunately I crashed it racing. I repaired it, painted it plain white, then I moved from South Africa to the UK, so I gave it back to the guy who owned it before me, and I believe he is restoring it.
Never won any races or championship, budget too small, but, boy did I have fun!!
Here I am at Welkom in South Africa ( where the MotoGP is held). No, I am not racing the Landrover, but I am racing the Toyota Corolla!
