Does anyone buy the Motorsport News paper? I just picked up last wednesdays issue today and noticed an article on a kart that is powered by a 250cc rotary wankel engine!!! The write up on the kart is amazing. I dont have a scanner but could always send the article to someone in the know so that they might be able to put it up on the website for all to read??!?
Cheers, michael.

I will buy the next one mike to see and read all about your current 7 days of fame. (seeing as how it is a weekly thing:D )

Did you note the important thing about it in the article though???
They mention about a GSX-R bike engined cart that has been lengthened and runs discs all round with a dirty great big wing on it for down force, and then say that it wasn't as "Nippy" as the single rotar powered super "A" style cart!

Normal super carts are quick enough, no idea what this must be like if its 'too quick' to race.

useless fact is that a super cart is quicker around cadwell park than a british superbike race bike !

So I wonder where you get the engines from??
Oh and mike, for that random fact i think you deserve a "you need to get out more" type of comment.

by the way are you coming up in october for the rally?

LoL I'm still recovering from being out too much at the weekend :D

might be up for a bit of marshalling on the tour in Oct ... hopefully it won't clash with anything else.

I've seen one of these in person, last year in Greece.I race a rotax 125cc(2 stroke-30hp),and the italsistem was passing me like i was standing still. The noise is very deep, more like a 600cc motard bike, and it backfires also ROFLl.The downside is the price(about 4000 euro for the motor if i recall).
