Why soo cheap ?

my 1988 rx7 non turbo - was 350 to insure fully comp thru sure term

i got a quote for a TII Cab and that came thru at 397 fully comp

so these are really good prices ( as second cars )

so why do they quote me £1708 for a scooby ?

can some one tell me why the HUGE difference

Also - what ins. group is the TII Cab

Subaru's are common and drooled over by many a tea leaf and wanabee street racer so they get stolen and the insurance premium's bumped up because of the way some people drive them

most people wouldn't know a 2nd gen if it jumped up and bit them on the ass and they are less common so they a lower theft rating

thats my theory anyway (no offence implied towards subaru drivers BTW)

why 400 more than a TII cab - when the TII pumps out more BHP , and is a cab ( which i thought meant more £££ )

Scoob's are expensive due to a bad record of the little boys getting hold of them and killing themelves and others, also they are high profile for theifs.

You are also trying to compare a 1988 car against two new cars, at least 1995/6 for the scoob and 1998/- for the Vauxhall.

you got the years right for the scooby and the v6 ! - im impressed !

i could shop around - but over a 12 month period its FAR cheaper to run a TII cab !

even with the small MPG figures !

i reckon that with buying a 1995 scooby or a 1989-90 TII cab - the cost difference means i would need to drive about 80,000 miles to get the 2 costs to meet

just need to find a dirt cheap TII cab now !

so what ins. group is the cab ?? - i cant find it anywhere on the net
