Group buy time for JC Cosmo owners. I have 5 people on board straight away so am looking to add more to get a better price.

The plan............. Get a high flow, high capacity intercooler that slots into the factory mounting points & uses the original 20B pipes.

I will research the best places to get this done based on reputation, proven abilities & importantly.... price.

So far here in Sydney I will check out the following companies.

Plazmaman.......... Done a couple (Cosmo) for me before & was very impressed with the performance.

Mood motorsport........ Seen some of the coolers they do for the PAC cars & the PAC customers E.T's are proof they must work well.

PWR..................Not aware of any of there coolers in any cars I know of (yet) but a lot of people have said good things about them.

I will consult these & other companies but the basic criteria will remain. Mailing coolers to the UK etc isn't a problem as I have done this before & GB will vouch for my credibility if any one has concerns. The list of people wanting these is growing on the Ausrotary.com (http://www.ausrotary.com) web site if you want to add your interest there as I sometimes forget to visit this one each week.

You Cosmo guys out there (even the 13B ones) that wanted one of these & want to save money would be welcome to let me know. I want to get this happening by the end of JAN-05

Hi Dave,

What would be involved in installing the 'cooler in a 13b ? I'm just concerned about availability / cost of additional parts if bits of 20b plumbing are needed. As you know they're not exactly thick on the ground in UK.

With your estimated shipping costs I make the total about £490.00. If we're quick or £ 555.00 if we're not.

Hi Tim there's a post on the Ausrotary site i think you just need 2 silicon hoses and the 2 alloy hardpipes that go down to the cooler. If you decide to go ahead we may be able to arrange to combine shipping with dave to the UK and save a few pounds. I dont have a problem driving down to yours to either collect or deliver.

Guys, the combined shipping sounds the goods.

The company making these are doing pipes & hoses included into the deal.

I have posted details & pics on the Ausrotary.com web site at http://ausrotary.dntinternet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55488

Hope you like the look of them as I certainly do......................:cool

This is one quality intercooler compleat with all hoses and clips to fit. As soon as its fitted you'll notice how much quicker the engine revs the dyno will tell the full story when the ecu's remapped to suit. Many thanks Dave quality kit.

Thanks for the kind words Kevin. Apologies for the delays but its hard to juggle the family/work/hobby/play lifestyle of a married-with-children 30-something lifestyle.

I'll post pics of the dyno graph differences from my car soon.
