Congrats mate..looks a little bit special & very kitted up. (make sure your sitting down when you tell ur insurance about the 8 point roll cage..ha)

I would seriously recommend to let an RE specilist like Reworks have a look to make sure everything to running and set up correctly (especially after a 5 week boat ride)...

Well first thing I'm gonna do is take it in for a full service at HME in Coventry( cos they're the closest to me) just to make sure everything is working properly, and if it is.. I'll swap the ARC I/C for a Vmount intercooler & radiator and a new bumper! I wouldn't take it to trackdays... dragstrips maybe:) just to see the 1/4mile time...:burnout

If you want to swap that bumper for a standard early model bumper, give me a shout. Any chance of swapping the bonnet whilst your at it, I love those bonnets.

I'm in Brum, so Coventry is quite close.... thanks for the offer guys.. but I think the bonnet stays cos the only other bonnet I want is the one on Garys RX with rain ducts and its pretty expensive in Carbon fibre!!

Martin, well if you was to sell your bonnet, that should cover most of the cost of one from Gary. Not that I REALLY want that bonnet.

Which company are you using to import your car and did you find them to be helpful?
How much did it set you back... did you have to pay it all up front?

Thx!...Redsuns huh?...Initial-D fan by any chance? anyway well he isn't a dedicated car importer really.. he usually just import parts and the occasional car to sell.. initially I asked for a JDM Integra type-R cos my bros got one and it goes like a rocket! but then I saw how much the RX-7's were over there... so I went for it!

This one was just over £4000 in Japan.. It's awaiting shipment at the mo....so just the vat,import duty,mot,registration, and his commision left to pay.. he'll take care of these!..
