What are the results for those who have had a nos kit fitted in their FD?
How much can you put in without a progressive controller?
Just toying with the idea at the moment.
Thanks

You can easily find out the manufactures tolerances on the engine if you do this it will be clear what size shots can be used and for what peroids as well as this you will need to find out what kit is most suitable eg wet, dry, prgressive etc.
But remember nos is like a teen boys first sex session it only last 10secs

Lol its the truth although it does work and is proven and if you just need that little bit extra to get the edge than its a bargin due to the expense of tuning jap cars.
Kits start at around 300 when imported from the states just dont let people in this country pull your pants down

if you work in the manufatures tolerances then you shouldnt blow it up if the engine is well maintained and incomparison is dead cheap against the other options its the cheapest bhp per £ you can get

I attached a word document ages ago with the different types of NOS and what suits a rotary the best.
Try doing a search.

I'll be putting a kit on my rex this summer, had a fair bit of experience with it on other cars and cant see it being too bad on these!

Just installed and set up my nitrous kit on my Rx-7 Twin turbo.
It is working fine and there are no problems although im only injecting 25hp worth, untill it is set u at Re:worx.
The cooling effect is great i have instant boost and v.cool intake temps (18-20c on PFC).
My boost jumps from the 7 psi (Lowest Setting) all the way to 10psi when using it, the jumps could be a problem on 50hp but different boost controller settings hopefully will help calm it down.(or porting the wastegate)
Just thought i'd let everyone know as Nitrous has a bad name on these engines. Personally i think its how its set up and the kit used which has given t self a bad name.
